The USS Missouri went LED these floating museum filled with history. Weighing over 58,000 tons and measuring just under 900 feet in length, The USS Missouri, or “Mighty Mo”, was commissioned in June 1944 and served in WWII. The deck of her ship was the site of surrender by the Japanese in WWll. She also served in the Korean War and provided fire support in operation Desert Storm before being decommissioned in 1992. In 1998 the USS Missouri became a museum ship at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. The USS Missouri was the last battleship built by the United States.
